**LOCATION** : ROPER HOSPITAL
**HOURS** : Monday - Friday, hours may vary (6:00am - 2:30pm)
**Primary Function/General Purpose of Position**
This position is responsible for day-to-day supervision and oversight of the phlebotomy team to include phlebotomy collections as well as day to day operations of the receiving and specimen processing areas. Responsible for training of both employees and students. Responsible for hiring, HR employee conversations, employee disciplinary actions, employee rounding, competency, evaluations, and scheduling. Evaluates and make improvements to department processes while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and Joint Commission standards. Works independently and in collaboration with leadership to support key operational goals.
