Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Meets regularly with staff to coordinate, plan, assign and schedule work tasks; Tasks include, but are not limited to: EI sketch review, project scopes of work, design reports, SCADA and telecommunications device settings, neighboring entity notifications, as well as maintenance and field staff support.
+ Ensures leadership is provided in the development of assigned SCADA and telecommunications standards and coordinates with the other Engineering groups to ensure they are followed consistently.
+ Provides input into the annual capital maintenance budget process with focus on field communications projects. Perform regular review of the status of the budget.
+ Works closely with the other engineering groups to ensure efficient and effective processes are followed in the course of work.
+ Oversees NERC Reliability Standards assignments to staff Subject Matter Experts for both 693 and CIP requirements.
