Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day supervision of preventive maintenance or repair projects.
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity for all assigned workers (yard and subcontractors).
- Deliver work according to schedule, budget, and customer specifications.
- Maintain strong coordination and communication with SRM, other departments, and vessel owners.
- Take ownership of preventive maintenance tasks onboard ships (e.g., cleaning, painting, insulation works, and minor mechanical maintenance).
Safety:
- Attend daily VSCC meetings and enforce Permit-To-Work compliance.
- Identify and mitigate safety risks for critical activities (lifting, blasting, painting, scaffolding, confined space entry, mechanical work).
