Summary The Supervisory Agriculturist provides supervision and leadership to staff to support Plant Protection and Quarantine's (PPQ) mission to safeguard U.S. agriculture and natural resources against the entry, establishment, and spread of economically and environmentally significant plant health pests and to facilitate safe trade. Responsibilities The duties may include, but are not limited to: Providing executive level line management for the planning, initiation and execution of emergency and domestic programs. Provides overall direction and coordination to subordinate staff who are responsible for science-based regulatory policies and decisions. Participates in establishing goals and objectives for assigned programs, developing overall operational plans and reporting on program activities.
