Summary A Supervisory Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) at this level develops, performs, evaluates, interprets, correlates, and validates the accuracy of laboratory procedures and results. Responsibilities Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Duties performed include, but are not limited to the following: Recommends appointments, plans, and assigns work, provides advice and counsel, and evaluates work of subordinates. Responsible for monitoring test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure acceptable levels of performance and initiate corrective action as required. Verifies orientation, training, and competency assessment of assigned staff. Develops and updates technical policies and procedure manuals. Ensures all staff, and affiliate staff, comply with accrediting and regulating bodies.
