Summary This position is located at the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Capitol Grounds & Arboretum (CGA). The Director, Facilities Operations serves on the CGA senior leadership team, contributing leadership and guidance to all aspects of the organization's operations; provides daily to long term supervision and guidance to the Maintenance Division comprised of pipefitters/irrigation specialists, automotive mechanics, engineering equipment operators, motor vehicle operators, masons and laborers. Responsibilities Position is essential. Required to report to work during emergencies and inclement weather situations. The Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist (Director of Facilities Operations) performs planning, estimating, coordination and scheduling for the trades, crafts and labor workforce for construction, renovation and installation projects.
