Summary This vacancy is for a GS-0801-13, Supervisory General Engineer located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SILC-CEU JUNEAU DESIGN/CONSTRUCTION SECTION A in JUNEAU, Alaska. Responsibilities You will serve as a Supervisory General Engineer and be responsible for developing or maintaining highly effective Coast Guard (CG) facilities through assigned projects as well as performing as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for designs and studies performed by Architect/Engineering (AE) firms, contracted support personnel and construction contracts. Projects include new construction of CG facilities or repair, maintenance, modification or renovation of existing CG facilities. CG facilities include modern and historic buildings, waterfronts, airfields, hangars, aids-to-navigation facilities, communication facilities, single and multi-family housing, industrial buildings, multi-mission buildings, support structures and all associated utilities.
