Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer, directing the activities of the Division workforce along with other professionals from multiple internal/external agencies and contract AE consultants. Responsibilities Supervises and controls the operation of the section by performing short and long range planning, making work assignments and adjustments as necessary for accomplishment of the section’s mission. Plans, organizes, directs, and supervises in-house design and the review and approval of designs prepared by Architect/Engineer (A/E) firms. Makes field trips to sites and/or existing facilities to examine or check conditions and advise on projects.
