Summary This position is in Education Service (EDU). The Service has department wide responsibility for activities relating to administering VA educational assistance programs to Veterans, Servicemembers, National Guard and Reserve members, and eligible dependents for their military service to the Nation. This mission is accomplished by providing financial assistance, generally in the form of monthly benefit payments, as mandated in Title 38 and Title 10, United States Code. Responsibilities Specific duties include: Leads a unit or team of employees performing work at the GS-13 level. Provides guidance and technical direction necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit or team. Performs Analytical and evaluative work associated with line and/ or program activities.
