Summary How MDEO Accomplishes Our Mission: Administer and oversee multi-billion-dollar international federal contracts. Develop DBQs and examination procedures. Audit vendor performance, provide error-trend feedback, and create training. Serve as VBA's primary POC for C&P exams and monitor examination data. Responsibilities Specific duties include: Providing technical and administrative supervision to subordinate staff members and oversees the daily operation of the unit, ensures agency policies and priorities are being followed; develops performance standards; and evaluates work performance of subordinates. Giving advice, counsel, and instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. Listens to and resolves minor complaints from employees; refers group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager; effects minor disciplinary measures such as warnings and reprimands and recommends action in more serious cases.
