Summary This position is located in the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Workforce Investment (OWI). This position is outside the bargaining unit. Responsibilities Planning and directing work of subordinates, setting and adjusting priorities and establishing deadlines for completion of work. Assigning work to subordinates based on knowledge and skill levels, priorities, difficulty and other requirements of assignments. Providing instruction, advice or counsel to subordinates on both work related and administrative issues. Creates an environment that is conducive to associates thinking and resolving problems creatively; assesses the talents and capabilities of associates. Promotes an environment that encourages confidence in making sound and well-informed decisions.
