Summary This position is located in the Boston Regional Office of Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), in the Division of Workforce Security (DWS). This Office provides leadership, oversight, policy guidance and technical assistance to state and local grantees for Unemployment Insurance (UI). This position is outside the bargaining unit. Responsibilities As a GS-14 Supervisory Workforce Development Specialist, duties will consist of, but are not limited to the following: Advises and assists the Regional Director on strategic planning, policy, program operations, and performance accountability. Supervises employees individually and in the work of teams. Links individual performance requirements to organizational goals. Reviews work within the assigned areas and allocates resources to ensure completion of agency mission and office work plan.
