Job Description

Job Summary

The Supplier Development Manager identifies new partners and suppliers in a designated area (India) for Liebherr Aerospace and Transportation Division (AER). He is in charge of developing AER suppliers through audits, regular visits, and support their plan to achieve targeted industrial performance. 

Essential Job Duties

  • Participate in trade and supplier shows

  • Build a database and network of potential suppliers and partners

  • Manage the sourcing of targeted technologies in India

  • Manage the development and the qualification of the new suppliers/partners until the validation for the FAI’s

  • Identify and ensure reporting of new aircraft level technologies or technology trends which may have an impact of Liebherr-Aerospace product portfolio

  • Actively participate in logistics/quality teams and meeting

  • Conduct supplier and partner audits to ensure performance (OTD & TNQF)
