Job Description
Position Summary:
Manage Supplier’s product and process evaluation regarding to the compliance according to the requirements of BW and our Customer.
Responsibilities:
- Work together with suppliers to develop and implement best practices to improve the defect prevention and reduction in variation and waste.
- Manage and coordinate suppliers on PPM improvement, problem solving, cost recovery due to quality issues and supplier’s warranty indicators,
- Report of KPIs in order to adhere to BorgWarner ETTS goals. Solve production quality concerns through effective problem-solving methodologies including:
-*Containment actions (Material identification, Material certification or re work, etc.) *Root cause analysis (5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram, etc.) *Permanent Corrective Actions evaluation and Effectiveness verification. *Cost recovery for all scrap, internal and third-party sorting activities.
