Job Description
The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer utilizes strong quality and technical expertise to develop suppliers and products that consistently meet Cummins and customer requirements. This role requires building strong partnerships with the external supply base, as well as close collaboration with Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other internal stakeholders to achieve quality, reliability, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with all critical partners to improve quality and business outcomes, including: external suppliers, external customers, and internal customers and stakeholders, such as Purchasing, Manufacturing and Engineering. Support the cross-functional supplier selection process for any given component.
