Purpose Statement
This position is focused on driving improvements for procurement of materials and services. Deliverables range from streamlining the overall supply base, managing material cost through negotiated strategic buying agreements and PPV metrics, analyzing supply chain data, optimizing operational processes, managing supplier KPIs, supplier performance management, inventory/working capital optimization, freight cost optimization and streamlining procurement administration costs through implementation of lean principles and tools.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to design and implement supply chain strategies that optimize inventory levels, reduce lead time, and minimize risk.
- Monitor and interpret Plexus Supply Chain Risk Management tools to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
