  • evaluate the supplier portfolio to suggest the best ordering approach and parameters

  • manage ordering data, forecast needs, and initiate purchase orders (when required) based on the demand in the relevant MRP (material requirements planning) and communicate with the supplier and internal customers

  • manage flows to ensure that outsourced and purchased products are delivered on time, with the right quality, quantity, and cost, in accordance with the expressed needs and aircraft programs

  • handle the entire purchase order process, including sending, receiving acknowledgments, maintaining master data, and confirming order completion

  • anticipate risks in case of shortages, identify, and classify risks if necessary
