SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (TITLE 32)

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2658000 and is part of the IL STA, National Guard. Responsibilities As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (TITLE 32), GS-2005-5/6/7, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, issuing, planning, budgeting, and preparation of vendor product bids of subsistence supplies. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Conduct daily sanitary inspections of all subsistence items, commencing with initial shipment and continuing until final excesses are disposed. Liaison with depots and higher headquarters on subsistence to cut back and/or increase in requisitions due to customer strength fluctuations. Arrange for veterinary inspections of prospective civilian bidder establishments, and initiate correspondence to prospective bidders for local purchase items.
