Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility. The purpose of this position is to serve as a Small Shop Chief with regular and recurring responsibility for the overall operation of a small maintenance shop. DEFINITION OF AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION: Area 1 = On-board technicians currently assigned to the Louisiana National Guard. Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities: (1) Plans, accomplishes, and maintains a functional small shop maintenance program. Plans and lays out work to be accomplished by shop workers. Independently determines appropriate maintenance procedures such as how and when work should be accomplished. Estimates manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
