Job Description
Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Glendale, CA at a hospital. You will function as a member of a cardiac surgical team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and providing intraoperative support to the surgical team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). This may be listed as Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR surgical technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
- Experience with Cerner electronic charting system.
- Willingness and ability to accept on-call responsibilities.
