Cardiac OR Surgical Technologist
This position will require a 3x12.0 schedule, including rotations on weekends and holidays, with on-call requirements as needed.
The Adult Cardiac OR is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for a diverse range of patients, including those undergoing CABG, TAVI, heart failure treatments, VADs, ECMO, artificial hearts, and heart transplants. The Surgical Technologist will leverage their technical expertise to prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures, alongside assisting the surgical team from the scrub position throughout operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare instruments and equipment for surgical procedures in the Cardiac OR.
- Assist the surgical team during operations, primarily in a scrub role.
- Ensure proper care and handling of instruments and maintain sterile technique.
