Locum Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Cardiovascular Summary
Join a dedicated team at a Level II Trauma Center in Redding, CA, focusing on cardiovascular surgery. We are seeking Nurse Practitioners with recent cardiovascular surgery experience, particularly in endovascular vein harvesting (EVH). This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities- Assist in approximately 10-11 cardiovascular surgeries per month.
- Perform rounds and write post-operative notes alongside the surgical team.
- Conduct follow-up clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Address urgent patient issues when necessary between scheduled clinic days.
- Support surgical teams by performing evaluation and monitoring of patients.
- Participate in night call duties with minimal call-back hours.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
