Surgical Coordinator

Immediate Surgical Coordinator position available for our physician practice group in Rockville Centre, NY.



Pay Rate: $23.00/hr



Work Schedule:

• 9:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday)

 Responsibilities:

• Perform surgical scheduling and tasks related to booking hospital procedures 


• Greet patients, answer phones, schedule patients and verify insurance


• Provide support for prior authorizations and authorizations for procedures


• Ensure necessary medical record information/clearance has been obtained for procedures    


• Competency in all skills related to the performance of providing exceptional patient care

Qualifications:

• Physician office scheduling and surgical scheduling experience is required


• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
