Allegheny Health Network’s Neuroscience Institute is seeking a Surgical Epileptologist to join our growing team at our Level 4 Epilepsy Center, in Pittsburgh, PA!
AHN’s Epilepsy Program has weekly epilepsy management conference, tackling challenging refractory epilepsy patients. This allows us to offer patients full gamut of advanced surgical options including robotic stereo-electroencephalography, surgical resective surgery, responsive neurostimulation, deep brain stimulation, laser ablation, and vagal nerve stimulation. Our Program actively performs 30-40 SEEG implantations per year with continuously growing volumes and 6 bed inpatient EMU. We are currently enrolled in multiple national clinical trials for medically refractory epilepsy including drug trials and surgically administered gene therapy.
