JOB DETAILS
1.Oversee pre-surgical procedures for the patient
2.Meet with patient’s relatives regarding the procedures to be performed on the patient
3.Explain the procedure to the patient before starting it
4.Inform patients about estimated recovery time
5.Sterilize surgical tools before and after the procedure
6.Set up the tools required for the surgical procedure before it begins
7.Make all necessary preparation in the operating room before the surgical procedure begins
8.Assist other surgical team members in putting on their gears, like masks, gloves and sterile gowns
9.Prepare and also properly clean the site where incision is to be made on the patient
10.Stick up and bandage incisions and wounds
11.Convey the patient to the recovery room after the surgical procedure
12.Monitor the patient in the recovery room till he/she wakes up from anesthesia
