A certified healthcare professional specializing in assisting surgeons during vascular surgical procedures within a dedicated vascular operating room, primarily responsible for preparing the sterile field, anticipating the surgeon's needs by providing necessary instruments and supplies, and maintaining a safe and efficient surgical environment with advanced knowledge of vascular anatomy and surgical techniques.
Qualifications
Education: High School graduate required. Graduate of approved Surgical Technology Program. Eligible to register as a Surgical Technologist with the VA Department of Health Professions required.
