Job Description
**Position Description:** **Surgical Technologist Lead**
+ Acts as the shift lead to staff and assists management with daily operations of the department.
+ The Surgical Technologist is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care.
+ Prepares equipment, instruments, supplies, operating room, and patients to ensure sterile field.
+ Coordinates preparation or disposal of specimens, etc.
+ Assists with inventory of sterile supplies.
+ May assist in patient transport.

**Shift Hours:** 6:30am - 5:00pm
**Weekend Work:** Occasional
