Job Description
**Position Description:** **Surgical Technologist – Non-Certified**
+ The Surgical Technologist is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care.
+ Prepares equipment, instruments, supplies, operating room and patients to ensure sterile field.
+ Coordinates preparation or disposal of specimens, etc.
+ Assists with inventory of sterile supplies.
+ May assist in patient transport.

**Location:** Morton Plant - Endoscopy
**Status:** Full Time, Exempt: No
**Shift Hours:** 6:30am - 3:00pm
**Weekend Work:** Occasional
**On Call:** Yes
