Summary This announcement is for the Survey Technician, to clear ICTAP/CTAP priority lists. It is only open to current surplus and current or former displaced Federal individuals who have special priority selection rights under the ICTAP/CTAP. This position is located in Atascadero, CA. Responsibilities Assist in the measurement or determination of distances, elevations, areas, angles, land boundaries, and other features of the earth's surface. Assists in setting survey monuments; this requires digging holes with shovels and rock bars for prolonged periods. Prepares or reviews the preparation of field notes, random lined diagrams, and computations to determine whether closures are within prescribed lines of accuracy.
