Surveyor

This role provides the developing Wharekirauponga Underground Mine with adequate survey services to ensure daily operational requirements are met, whilst providing support with the wider technical team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Install and maintain laser alignment systems for development.
• Issue mining instructions for the jumbo operators.
• Complete regular survey pickups of the constructed underground workings.
• Conduct regular set-out tasks and markups.
• Maintain and extend survey control points ensuring the highest possible accuracy for the mine.
• Conduct technical inspections in conjunction with other technical disciplines.
• Ensure all required survey records and datasets are maintained and kept updated.
• Provide regular information, reports and survey data to other departments and operations.
• Provide support and training to others within the team when and as required.
