JOB SUMMARY

The Surveyor/Inspector performs inspection work according to operating procedures of cargo on vessels, rail/road cars or shore tanks, on terminals and or offshore.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To carry out quantity survey and establish accurate quantities of loading or discharge of vessels, rail/road cars or shore tanks
  • To obtain representative samples and carry out quality survey of loading & discharge of vessels, rail/road cars or shore tanks.
  • To provide complete and accurate reports, as directed by the Survey Supervisor on above activities.
  • To carry out all operations in strict accordance with applicable procedures for operations and safety.
  • To assist in identifying and correcting any non-conformances with regards to quality, operational or safety matters.
