Duties & Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Monitor and ensure all hardware, server resources, and key processes are functioning properly. Review system/application logs and verify scheduled job completion.
- Server Configuration & Management: Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade physical and virtual server operating systems and applications.
- Network Management: Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring optimal LAN/WAN connectivity.
- Security Maintenance: Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and security policies.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Develop, maintain, and test backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems and data.
