Job Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect, deploy, and manage large-scale IBM POWER SERVERS / AIX and Linux environments
- Perform complex OS migrations, SP / TL upgrades,
- VIOS upgrades, backups, and dual-VIOS redundancy.
- Advanced performance tuning (CPU, memory, I/O, kernel parameters)
- Deep expertise in LVM, filesystem tuning, multipathing (MPIO)
- Implement OS hardening, RBAC, sudo policies, and system auditing.
- Shared adapter configuration Vlan tagging
- HMC Backup / LPAR configuration and profile backup restore
- PowerVM Live Partition Mobility configuration and validation migration
- Design and enforce enterprise OS standards, baselines, and hardening
- Advanced administration of IBM PowerVM, HMC, VIOS, LPARs, Shared Storage Pools
