Job Description
**JOB SUMMARY**
Under the supervision of certified personnel, ensures the safe and reliable operation of the electric transmission system by performing real-time system monitoring, voltage control and coordinating operations with interconnected entities, Reliability Coordinators and Regional Transmission Organizations. Performs power flow studies and determines corrective actions in all situations.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Note: All the following duties & responsibilities are performed in a training environment or under the direct supervision of a certified Instructor or a certified and internally qualified System Reliability Controller or Transmission System Coordinator.**
**All Levels**
+ Complete all SRC qualifications; reliability related tasks, written and oral tests.
+ Monitors the transmission system security using the Energy Management System (EMS) and other reliability related applications.
