Alteo is seeking a Systems Administrator / DBA for a permanent position based in Montreal.
Responsibilities
- Manage system administration to ensure the availability and reliability of the platform
- Help define technical server requirements in coordination with project teams
- Ensure the installation and configuration of systems
- Ensure system administration (e.g., backup, restore, monitoring…)
- Ensure performance monitoring, analysis, and evaluation
- Ensure the management of production incidents and their resolution or escalation
- Ensure system evolution and migration in accordance with technical recommendations and/or those of manufacturers and software vendors
- Ensure system security to guarantee the platform’s availability and reliability
- Participate in defining the platform’s security policy
