Temporary Position Of 0.40 FTE Grades K-9 Learning Support Teacher
Learning Support teachers work with students with low incidence challenges, behavioural/mental health issues and learning disabilities. They play an active role in the identification and assessment of students, provide support to classroom teachers to facilitate the inclusion of students in the regular classroom, assist classroom teachers with the development of I.E.P.s and collaborate with classroom teachers to design or implement instructional strategies or to adapt/modify instructional content or materials. They also provide direct remedial instruction.
