Tarmaccers – South Molton
Our clients are looking for Tarmaccers to join their team in the South Molton area. This will be a practical, hands-on role that includes a range of tasks such as reactive repairs, patching, winter service operations, and responding to emergency callouts
As a Tarmaccer, you will be responsible for:-
Spreading hot bitumen, tar, or asphaltCompacting the surface using a rollerSpreading aggregate over road surfaces using a shovelRemove damaged paving slabs and kerb stonesLaying bedding of sand, concrete, or mortar on a prepared foundationLaying new slabs or stonesFilling joints with mortarEnsuring all works are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation, standards, and safety proceduresCarrying out reactive and planned maintenance tasks such as pothole repairs, patching, ...
