The Cardiac directorate at Imperial College NHS Trust is recruiting a clinical nurse specialist for TAVI (transcatheter aortic valve implantation) and structural heart disease.
The successful candidate will work within a well‑established multi‑disciplinary team to provide high quality patient centred compassionate care. We are seeking an experienced nurse who would welcome the challenge of working within an expanding service.
The successful candidate's role will combine both clinical and administrative duties. This can be flexible to include cath lab days, reviewing patients in clinics as well as coordinating and attending the weekly multidisciplinary team.
The majority of referrals to the service will be patients undergoing assessment for TAVI. The post holder will play an active role in coordinating the patient pathway from referral to discharge. They will be adaptable to change and engage in service development as the programme continues to grow.
