We have frequent needs from our local clients for a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to support tax preparation, compliance, and planning activities. This role works closely with internal teams and/or clients to ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax obligations while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
+ Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, or trust as applicable)
+ Assist with tax planning, projections, and estimated payments
+ Research tax regulations and provide guidance on compliance issues
+ Support quarterly and year-end tax provision processes
+ Reconcile tax accounts and assist with audits or tax notices
+ Maintain accurate documentation and workpapers
+ Collaborate with accounting, finance, and external partners as needed
