Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes)
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations (e.g., BIR rules and deadlines)
- Maintain accurate tax records and supporting schedules
- Compute tax provisions, accruals, and deferred taxes
- Assist in tax audits, assessments, and examinations
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors or tax authorities
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on the company
- Support tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency
- Reconcile tax accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare tax reports and management summaries
