About the Role
Tax Compliance Manager – Rest of Africa. Manage and deliver accurate, timely, and compliant tax filings and obligations for South African entities in accordance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and group policies in a NYSE‑listed environment.
Responsibilities
Tax Compliance Delivery
- Review tax returns, filings, and declarations across relevant tax types (Corporate Income Tax, Gaming Taxes, Indirect Taxes, Withholding and payroll taxes).
- Ensure filings are accurate, complete, and submitted within statutory deadlines.
- Review timely and accurate tax payments and reconciliations.
Compliance Process Management
- Maintain and manage tax compliance calendars for assigned entities or jurisdictions.
- Track deliverables and ensure accountability for timely completion.
- Follow and apply standardised compliance processes and templates.
