POSITION: SENIOR LEGAL MANAGER (TAX LAWYER)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tax Advisory and Compliance
- Provide legal advice on tax issues related to corporate, real estate, and operational transactions
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, BIR regulations, and local government requirements
- Review contracts, transactions, and structures to identify tax risks and opportunities
- Assist in tax assessments, audits, and negotiations with regulatory authorities
Litigation and Dispute Management
- Handle and oversee tax and other legal disputes involving the company
- Prepare pleadings, legal opinions, position papers, and correspondence
- Represent the company in hearings, mediations, and discussions with government agencies
- Work with external counsel in managing complex or high-value cases
