Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Earth City, Missouri on a Contract basis. This role is focused on supporting multi-state sales and use tax compliance, ensuring filings are completed accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate brings strong technical tax knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the preparation, review, and submission of multi-state sales and use tax filings to meet all reporting deadlines.
• Analyze tax data, reconcile supporting records, and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate compliance documentation.
• Support broader corporate tax activities, including work related to income tax provision and business tax return processes as needed.
• Utilize tax technology tools such as CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, and Avalara to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
