Responsibilities
- Support Senior Tax Manager in delivery of the Tax Function to SGS.
- Handle indirect tax compliance for IPI, PIS, COFINS, ICMS, ICMS‑ST, ISS, PRODEPE, CBS, IBS and ancillary obligations such as SEF I & II, E‑DOC, EFD‑ICMS/IPI, EFD‑CONTRIBUTIONS, GIA, GIA‑ST, DCTF, DIRF.
- Review calculations and ensure accurate tax accounting and compliance with applicable legislation and special regimes (São Paulo, Pernambuco, Minas Grês).
- Lead the Tax Reform Project and coordinate with IT, consultants and the local team in Brazil.
- Maintain and communicate knowledge of current and evolving Brazilian indirect tax laws, regulations, rulings, procedures and court decisions that impact SGS business.
- Lead relationships with consultants regarding direct taxation, accounting and reporting to the group and the Transfer‑Pricing Team.
