Job Description
This is a full time Hybrid (Remote & In-Office) role for a Tax Manager at SDG. This is not just a reviewer role—this position is the internal practice leader responsible for the day-to-day operations, production quality, and technical execution of the firm’s tax function.
The Tax Manager will act as the operations leader for file production, ensuring tax and year-end files are delivered on time, to a high standard, and in line with internal procedures. This role will manage a team of staff accountants by assigning work, training, monitoring performance and time, and ensuring clients are billed appropriately based on the work performed.
This position reports directly to the Owner and will provide regular reporting on production metrics, team utilization, realization, turnaround times, and quality control, ensuring firm KPIs consistently met.
