Description We are looking for an organized Tax Preparer to support a busy tax season in San Jose, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys producing accurate returns, managing multiple client files, and working with a range of entity types. The position focuses mainly on individual tax filings while also contributing to business and trust returns in a collaborative office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review primarily individual income tax returns with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with tax filings for partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, LLCs, and trusts as workload demands.
• Gather, organize, and assess client financial documents to ensure complete and compliant return preparation.
• Use tax preparation software to enter data, verify calculations, and finalize returns; training on UltraTax can be provided if needed.
