We are looking for a Tax Preparer to join a CPA firm in Westport, Connecticut in a Contract to Permanent role. This position offers the opportunity to support a close-knit office environment while preparing tax filings for individuals and small businesses. • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individual clients as well as corporate and small business entities.
• Gather, organize, and verify financial records to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings.
• Communicate with clients and internal staff to resolve missing information, clarify tax documents, and support the filing process.
