Position
An opportunity has arisen for a full‑time Technical Manager (MEP) to work in the Estates Department within the Facilities and EHealth Directorate of NHS Grampian. The post will be based initially at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and will provide technical commissioning services to major construction projects across Grampian.
Responsibilities
- Ensure mechanical and electrical installations within physical infrastructure projects are installed and commissioned to relevant statutory, technical and NHS specific standards and in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
- Deal with multidisciplinary teams of construction and health professionals.
- Undertake detailed inspections, plan and witness commissioning of installed services and prepare reports on progress regarding live construction sites.
