Overview
Elves School Program (Elves) is seeking full‑time, part‑time and on‑call casual early education and grades 1‑12 teachers with experience working with children or youth with complex needs associated with health, physical, intellectual or psychosocial development. Classrooms include educational assistants, and Elves employs speech and language pathologists, nurses, social workers, physical and occupational therapists and behavioural and early education experts.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in teaching students of varying ability levels in a classroom setting.
- Highly motivated to work within a multidisciplinary school environment.
Chief Responsibilities
- Consult with colleagues regarding student profiles.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate each student’s Individual Program Plan in conjunction with the classroom team.
