Start date/ End date: September 2026 – December 2026
Days / hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm
Pay: £92.63 – £95 per day
Location: Cardiff (CF3)
Teaching Personnel is looking for a teaching assistant to work on a 1:1 basis supporting a child with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
This will be a long‑term position working in Key Stage 2 (KS2) providing extra support to a child with ASD. Helping them develop confidence, access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You will need to work closely with the class teacher and the Additional Learning Needs Co‑ordinator (ALNCO).
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to an ALN pupil
- Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Promote independence, confidence, and inclusion within the classroom and wider school community.
